Mmmmm....bread!

The sweet child o' mine surprised us and made the BEST banana bread today. Yay her!

My phone camera sucks...but shes cute and it was delicious.

Weekend update

This weekend was fairly relaxing and uneventful. Just how I like it!

On Friday we made homemade gyros and tzatziki sauce. Yummmmmm!

I make mine without bread and sub a salad underneath...it turns out really well.

Delicious! 

Spent some time on the couch with the pooch.

Popped some tags at the thrift store!

And found some really great stuff.....

Made a gold nail polish I've been searching for but have been unable to find.

On the search for the best red lipstick for me. Though I love the bright pop of color red lipstick provides, being a fair skinned, freckless, redhead, the perfect tone of red has been elusive.
Here's what I've come up with thus far;

Though it has its detraction's, according to the reviews, I really like the matte aspect of this one.

Rimmel 111- a pretty blue red

L'Oreal British Red- which might be too orange/coral for me.

And finally, I've been thinking about this Mac color forever.....

Russian Red. 

What should I choose????

Blazer Fever

Last night we had "family night" and went to our first Blazers game. I've never been too into sports, but the hubbish has forced me into the Red Sox Nation and I love it! So when he started working security at the Blazers games he became a fan and the lovely daughter and I soon followed suit.

I'll never be hardcore into any sport, but I'm not one to miss a night of yelling and drinking...so you know.

 We ended up being seated in the Club section of the arena, which meant unlimited food and drink. It was pretty good food, with Irish stew, some kind of Irish mashed potatoes with meat, ham, and all the sporting fair. The hubbish and daughter really loved that.

All in all it was a very fun evening and the Blazers won...so a good time was had by all!

Welp...my birthday is in about three weeks, so of course I am already putting together a hefty wish list to document on my own personal slice of the interweb.

Blah blah blah...homework

Hello Internet World. It's Friday and I am feeling a whole lot better then I have been for the last few weeks, though I am trying to take it easy and just lounging and catching up on homework. My one class this semester started to get away from me while I was so very sick. Luckily I have a very understanding teacher and she was more than happy to work with me. So at this point I have piles of math projects to complete and I may be drowning in text books this weekend. Hope you have a much more interesting and adventure filled two day break!

I think I might stay in my bathrobe all weekend!
